We encourage the posting of links to jazz guitar related websites from regular posters, but please follow these guidelines:
1. Announcing a link to your site without making any significant contribution to the group or as a response to another members question is generally considered spam. Please do not spam the group. Posting a link to an article on your website as a means to draw visitors to your website is considered "link spam", rather the article should be pasted in full as part of your post with a link to your site at the bottom.
2. The announcement should should include a description and details about the site and not just a URL. Please be succinct, with minimum marketing terms. Out of respect for other members please do not indulge in excessive self-promotion.
3. Please do not post invites or cross post to your new web forum that you have just set-up.
PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE THE GROUP. THE GROUP SHOULD NOT BE USED AS AN EXTENSION OF YOUR MAILING LIST TO PROMOTE YOUR CD's, SERVICES OR PRODUCTS.
